Refund policy

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR ISSUE REFUNDS DUE TO THE PERSONALIZED NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS UNLESS IT WAS MISLABELED OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT.

• If your product was damaged in transit, please reach out to us at support@my-outdoor-dad.com. If you included "Shipping Protection" to your order, we will issue you a redo as soon as possible. However, If you did not include shipping insurance for your damaged order, we can offer a 75% off replacement discount. Please reach out to us if you would like to use this option and we will apply your 75% off discount to your order and send you an invoice to your email where you may conveniently submit payment. Please note that if your order didn't include shipping insurance, we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items and therefore cannot issue a refund on those items. 

CANCELLATIONS

The customer may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase. Please email support@my-outdoor-dad.com within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel your order and we'll issue you a refund right away. 

WHAT IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED?

Because each plaque is custom-made and engraved specifically for your order, all sales are final.

However, we stand behind our craftsmanship and want you to love your plaque.

If You’re Not Satisfied With Your Plaque

We offer a Redo Program that allows you to order a new plaque at a 75% discount off your original price.

You can choose from the following options:

🔁 Option 1 — Redo Using a New Photo

If you’d like to try a different photo, we’ll prepare a new engraving design using your replacement image.

This is recommended when:

• The original photo had low lighting, shadows, blur, or other qualities limiting the engraving.

• You want a different pose, angle, or background.

🔁 Option 2 — Redo Using the Same Photo

If we believe your original photo can be improved through better editing or design adjustments, we’ll redo the plaque using the same image with enhanced editing.

If we determine that the original photo cannot be improved (low resolution, underexposed, etc.), we’ll recommend Option 1.

What Our Team Reviews Before Approving a Redo

To make sure the redo will genuinely look better, our designers evaluate:

• Photo resolution & clarity

• Shadows or glare

• Contrast between subject and background

• Facial visibility

• Overall engraving suitability

We’ll give feedback honestly and help you choose the option that will produce the best final result.

Why Redos Are Not Free

Each plaque is hand-crafted and made-to-order, meaning:

• We cannot resell personalized plaques

• Our production partners charge full price for every engraving

• Redos incur the same production and material costs as the original

For these reasons, we offer the 75% discounted redo as the most affordable option while ensuring quality and fairness
